Our trip to folly farm!

We had a brilliant day at Folly Farm on our school trip and it was a beautiful sunny day.

First, we went on a hungry caterpillar trail and found out what real caterpillars like to eat.
Next, we hid cocoons in the woods so they would be safe from birds and other predators! We enjoyed exploring the woods and learning lots more about the life cycle of a caterpillar. After that, we had lunch together sitting in the sunshine.
Then, we learnt about butterflies and made our own symmetrical butterflies using natural materials. We also hid butterflies around the garden and challenged our friends to find them.
Finally, we played a fun game called bat and moth and went back to school on the coach. Thank you to Cathy at Folly farm for a fantastic day and all our parents that came along to help.
